‘Katy Perry’ turns out to be Woman from Gloucester
Spencer Morrill says during the episode that he had an “instant connection” with the woman purporting to be the pop singer, saying: “She’s awesome”. A million “I love yous” back and fourth.

If we follow Spencer’s timeline, he and Perry would have been in their relationship through her marriage and divorce to Russell Brand as well as her courtship with current squeeze Bloom or, as Spencer refers to him “the elf from Lord of the Rings”.
And the proof that it really is Katy – but not really – is the person pretending to be her send him unreleased songs. I don’t know how many people give her credit for that, but she’s very intelligent.
Speaking to presenters Nev Schulman and Max Joseph, Morrill describes how he’s convinced she’s the person he’s been exchanging emails and texts with for over half a decade.
The “boyfriend” to Katy admits to spending 25% of his savings on an engagement ring for the 31-year-old singer, carving out an emerald from his grandmother’s ring to make it extra special. “Katy’s full of life, huge heart”. “You need to know that you’re not talking to Katy Perry”.
He added, “And you [Harriet] need to start thinking about the fact that this is the actual human being. For both of you, there’s some self-reflection that needs to happen”.
“For me it was enjoyable, but there’s also that kind of realisation that I’ve lost myself in that”, Harriet tells Spencer after he finds out.
Claiming the British actor is a “super nice guy”, he continued: “I would be lying if I said I wasn’t more inclined to put him in something now that I saw he has a great d***”.

Harriet reportedly apologised for what she did and said, “I can’t change what I did, but I understand that it was really wrong”, she said. I’ll be fine. The bad’s in the past.
