Keep promise on containing terrorists, India tells Pakistan
Gambhir said India sees in Pakistan “a terrorist state” which channelises billions of dollars, much of it diverted from worldwide aid, to training, financing and supporting terrorist groups as militant proxies against it neighbours.

Chinese Premier said his country would stand with Pakistan. He said, the worldwide community is also suffering from the Pak-sponsored terrorism.
His reference was to Sunday’s terror attack at an army base camp in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir, in which 18 Indian soldiers were killed and four attackers gunned down.
India has long accused Pakistan of playing a role in the 27-year-long insurgency against its rule in Jammu and Kashmir, its only Muslim-majority state.
Sharif spent the majority of his speech on Kashmir, saying peace and normalisation between Pakistan and India can not be achieved without a resolution of the Kashmir issue. She said, sponsoring terrorism is Pakistan’ state policy and when it practiced as an instrument of state policy it is a war crime.
Rubbishing Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharifs speech at the UN, the Janata Dal (United) said he will deny all acts of terror sponsored by his country, adding that India must learn to accept this situation and proceed with its diplomatic, offensive and other measures.
Sharif was openly campaigning for one of his terror commanders Burhan Wani of Hizbul Mujahideen, he said adding “It is so pathetic to see the Prime Minister of Pakistan campaigning for the cause of United Nations designated terror organisation”.
“Pakistan at this moment seems to be run by a war machine rather than a government. We have always been ready for a dialogue but we will not succumb to the blackmail tactics of the government in Islamabad that seems eager to use terrorists and terrorism as policy”.
“But India has posed unacceptable preconditions to engage in dialogue”, he said.
He added the world also knows that Pakistan has indulged in ethnic cleansing of its own people. We attach great importance to Pakistan’s position on Kashmir. “We support Pakistan and will speak for Pakistan at every forum”. She said while Pakistan’s nuclear proliferation record is marked by “deception and deceit”, it talks about restraint, renunciation and peace. Pakistan itself is a victim of terrorism.
