Fan theories are sprouting on the net claiming that Kid Flash will set out to fix the timeline.

Canadagraphs also posted a new set photo on Twitter that hinted Kid Flash tried to fight the Black Racer, but unfortunately, Wally was thrown into a dumpster and a anxious Barry tried to help him out. This week, the first photo was released of Keiynan Lonsdale’s West in the costume, and to the delight of purists, he looks a lot like his comic book counterpart.
Wally is the nephew of Barry Allen who grew up in a less-than-stellar household (AKA bad parents).
So with that said, let’s take a look at the comic book Wally West/Kid Flash, and get you up to speed on the key facts of this fan-favourite speedster. Although the identity of Wally’s foe remains unknown (Black Racer appears to be the No. 1 guess), the mystery man packs a wallop strong enough to render Central City’s reigning hero unconscious in a dumpster. Collider opines that the costume on the whole is close to what Zoom (Teddy Sears), the main antagonist in “The Flash” season 2, donned during his stint on the show.
The season three premiere of CW’s The Flash is only a few months away, but the news and reveals keep pouring in.
New set photos for “The Flash” season three hinted that Wally West gained speedster abilities and Barry Allen is going to help his friend fight a villain called the Black Racer.
For those who do not follow the comics, Wally West was debuted back in 1959.
It’s certainly interesting that The Flash would opt to bring in Black Racer right after teasing the creation of Black Flash in the season 2 finale (see video below). Kid Flash has arrived, but he’s not alone. In an effort to save Patty Spivot, he runs through time and ends up becoming Black Flash.
“The Flash” Season 3 will air on The CW on October 4.
