Some activists managed to come close to Kejriwal despite presence of policemen.
Ashutosh had written a blog for a news website defending suspended AAP Minister Sandeep Kumar, whose sex-tape had surfaced late last month.
Arvind Kejrwal was jostled by a crowd of protesters this morning at the railway station in Delhi, from where he took a train to Punjab for a five-day visit.
“Are Delhi Police and BJP conspiring to attack Kejriwal at Modi’s behest?”
The AAP government however has been of the opinion that the post of parliamentary secretary is “not an office of profit” as the MLAs are not receiving any ‘pecuniary benefit’.
“People thought of Kejriwal as someone who harboured high ideals and bring the much needeed change in the political atmosphere in the country”, the BJP leader said.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said the entire episode was planned. However, the Punjab Police has been requested to provide security to Kejriwal during his visit to the state, police sources said.
The official spokesperson of the Delhi government alleged that the Delhi Police allowed the manhandling of the chief minister by leaking reports that no security will be provided for his visit.
Who could have imagined that social crusader Anna Hazare, who spearheaded a mass movement against the then UPA regime with Arvind Kejriwal by his side, would one day consider an agitation against his most trusted lieutenant?

AAP accused the Delhi Police of compromising Kejriwal’s security describing the incident as a “huge security breach”. He tweeted, “Why did this happen despite the police being informed about the chief minister’s schedule?”
