Responding to a query on the future of the road-rationing measure during the “Talk to AK” session, he said it would be again considered during the winter months when the pollution levels remain on the higher side.

“If this system continues then the future may be in peril, unemployment will be widespread”. But it is found that in Class 9 students suffer from depression and even commit suicide as they can’t read and write. “I had told him (Modi), forgive me if I have committed any mistake, but please end these irritants”, he said.

For the first 40 minutes into his two-hour-long “Talk to AK” session, Kejriwal highlighted his government’s emphasis on education, health, power and water. He also spoke extensively on the issue of compensation to farmers for land and crop damage. “You take all the credit”, Kejriwal said in response to a caller’s query. “The same would be over Rs 2,500 in Gujarat, Rs 4,300 in Mumbai, Rs 2,927 in Kolkata and Rs 2,690 in Punjab”. To a question on the perennial waterlogging of Delhi’s roads in the monsoon, Mr Kejriwal promised a thorough cleanup in a year and a half if Delhi’s voters gave the AAP a mandate to run the three civic bodies. “But I want to assure everyone that we will continue to work and hire experts from outside if officers are not provided by the central government”, he said. “If we can improve the situation in Delhi, it can be improved in places like Goa, Punjab and Gujarat as well”, Kejriwal said.

Kejriwal indicated that the party may contest the next Assembly polls in Gujarat, alleging that an “atmosphere of suppression” was prevailing there and people wanted to overthrow the BJP regime. It’s the people of the state who fight it.

Asserting that the AAP national convener was only trying to seek “personal publicity” out of the controversy, Amarinder asked what was he (Kejriwal) atoning for as it was AAP manifesto committee in-chrage Kanwar Sandhu who was responsible for the “blasphemy” and he was nowhere to be seen.
