Kelly Ripa Says She Will Return to ‘Live’ on Tuesday
Kelly Ripa will be returning from her hiatus, expressing gratitude to her staff in a new email. “I am extremely grateful for the awesome support I’ve received from all of the fans”, Strahan said.

“I look forward to continuing to work with the incredible team at “GMA.’ It is an exciting opportunity to be able to bring unique stories and voices to the audience”.
This isn’t the first time Ripa has been put through the ringer when it comes to her co-hosts. Everybody is so talented and this show has not been around for over 30 years by mistake. “That’s a question that deserves an answer: ‘Why wasn’t she told earlier?”‘
While Ripa declined to speak to reporters waiting outside as she left for the airport, CBS noted that she was prominently displaying a book in her hands: “Malcolm Gladwell’s David and Goliath: “Underdogs, Misfits, and the Art of Battling Giants”. But it was originally unclear when or if she would ever return.
“They should have told her in the beginning”, he said. They haven’t been getting on for some time. “It wasn’t an overnight decision and took some time to put it in place”. So Ripa and “Live” are trading a successful co-host pairing for an unknown future. “He’d lose it, yelling at [Ripa] and [“Live!” executive producer Michael] Gelman”, the source added. Just keep “Live” on the air ABC! She didn’t show up for work on Wednesday when Strahan, opposite guest co-host Ana Gasteyer, told viewers about his impending move. “Ripa was absent from her daytime talk show for three days after it was announced Wednesday, April 20, 2016, that Strahan was leaving the show to join ‘Good Morning America” full-time.

A source for Strahan says it’s business as usual for him and that if Kelly doesn’t come back on Tuesday, a lot will be addressed. She has to decide whether she can sit there with Michael again. He’s on the show for another four months, but could they even be on-air together? Who isn’t going to tune in and watch ‘Live!’ to see what happens when Kelly walks out onto the set? Ripa and Strahan “did not get along”, a source close to Ripa tells Page Six. “I’m very thankful for her-to her-because I learned so much from her”.
