Kendall Fuller Injury: Updates on Virginia Tech Star’s Knee and Return
Virginia Tech did not announce a timetable for Fuller’s return but said in the meantime it expects the veteran to “continue to contribute to our team with his knowledge and leadership”.

The injuries and the penalties are mounting for Virginia Tech. Prior to the injury, he was considered by many National Football League draft analysts to be a potental first-round selection in next year’s draft. As a junior, he’s racked up seven tackles and one sack, but he has been limited.
The good news for Virginia Tech after its mistake-filled loss to East Carolina is that the Hokies still have time to get things right. Gray’s comments following practice, however, seemed to indicate it Fuller’s surgery – at the least – had been planned. But now those quarterbacks on the October schedule, such as NC State’s Jacoby Brissett, Miami’s Brad Kaaya and Duke’s Thomas Sirk, can target Fuller’s successor, redshirt freshman Terrell Edmunds. Of course, Foster made that statement before details on Fuller’s injury were released. “After this past weekend’s game, it was decided that surgery would be the best option moving forward, and Kendall will miss the remainder of the 2015 football season”. Fuller was a preseason ESPN.com All-American.

Fuller is the younger brother of 2014 Chicago Bears first-round pick Kyle Fuller, who played the same position for the Hokies. However, apparently it is meniscus fix surgery, which puts players out for three to six months.
