Kendall Jenner struggled with dad Caitlyn Jenner’s transition
We feel like this can’t be the first time the Kardashians have forgotten about Kendall Jenner…

She looks so fierce on this cover! Of course, it was all done in good, wholesome Kardashian-Jenner family fun.
Kendall Jenner is the cover star of Vogue’s all-important September 2016 issue. She follows on the heels of BFF Gigi Hadid, who covered the August issue with Olympian Ashton Eaton and more than two years after Kim and Kanye made waves with their infamous bride-and-groom cover (which we’re now nearly surprised to remember was an April issue, not September).
November 2014Four months before Kardashian West posts her now-famous censored nude selfie, Jenner reaches 40 million followers on Instagram and marks the occasion with an emoji “X” in a triumphant #FreeTheNipple move.
In a promotional video for the spread, the KUWTK crew (including the godfather Ryan Seacrest) got together to (not) congratulate the brown-haired beauty on her awesome accomplishment.
The half-sister of Kim Kardashian, sister of Kylie Jenner, and daughter of Caitlyn and Kris strong text(as if we have to remind you of any of that), Kendall has been nearly unarguably the It Model (alongside best friend Gigi Hadid) for the past year or so, so her landing the cover feels like a semi-unsurprising choice (there had been rumors that this might be happening since Jenner cut her hair earlier this year, seemingly for a major shoot).
For Kendall, the experience of having her dad transition was “strange” but now, she explained, “It’s all supernormal” and “not weird at all”. We found wigs. And then one time I actually ran into her.
She added, “That was the first time I had ever seen her”. “My mom knew. She knew since their third date”.
“It’s super-ironic to think about now, but it’s something I can thank my dad for: how much of a tomboy I was”, Kendall noted. You have to get past it- you’ve got a new person to love. “It’s kind of a blessing in disguise – if that’s not the wrong way to say it”.
But just as Kendall begins to get frustrated, she goes into the garden to find them all waiting with balloons and a giant sized copy of the magazine.

Landing the Vogue cover comes after Kendall has faced criticism by veteran supermodels in regards to how she came up in the industry.
