Kenny Rogers Announces Retirement from Touring
Kenny Rogers has chose to fold ’em.

“I’m going to say goodbye at that point”, Rogers, who has sold more than 120 million albums, told Today co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Carson Daly.
“I’ve done this long enough”, he said.
As well as spending time with his family, Rolling Stone reports that the Country Music Hall of Fame member is working on two books of photography. “I’m definitely going to perform major globally walks, and it’s likely going to be my last”.
“I really want to be there with my kids”, Rogers explained.
Those twin boys are now eleven and Rogers is 77 and, according to an interview on NBC’s Today Show on Friday morning, he’s ready to hang up his touring shoes for good.
“I’m sure I will miss it”, he said when discussing his retirement.
He’ll begin his North American holiday tour November 11 in Ontario. Thereafter, he will embark on another world tour, which will be his last, before he retires.
Kenny has been married to his wife, Wanda Miller, for 14 years, and it’s so great that they’ll actually be able to spend some real quality time with one another. “My mobility is really driving me insane”.
