Kenny Rogers To Launch Farewell Tour Next Year
The 77-year-old country icon announced his intention to retire during an appearance on The Today Show Friday morning (Sept. 25).

A large part of Rogers decision stems from a desire to spend quality time with his family.
The singer’s road trip will include his annual Christmas tour beginning November 11 and ending December 23.
A Christmas album is due out September 25. Moreover, his fans are in for a treat since Rogers has a huge collection. “I’ve done this long enough”.
“I have a few things on my bucket list”, he continued.
“I’ve done this long enough”, explained the Country Music Hall of Famer. He’s sold over 100 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artists of all time.
“It’s happily sad or sadly happy”, he said of the news. According in to Rolling Stone, Rogers wishes generate a photographic reserve. Kenny’s career-defining moment would come in 1977 when he reached No. 1 on the country charts with the ballad “Lucille”, which also became a top-5 hit on the pop charts.
