The previous record for scratch sales was $202.3 million back in the 2013 fiscal year. Seven drawings have been held since a lottery player in Missouri won a $70 million jackpot July 4.

The jackpot is a whopping $110 million and if you ticket has all six numbers drawn on Saturday night, you will be the lottery’s newest multi-millionaire. Check the report below to see how much you could win before you buy your tickets, and to get an update on the recent $90 million victor.
Tonight’s Mega Millions jackpot offers a $25 million top prize after no one matched Tuesday’s winning numbers of 8, 35, 61, 68 and 75 with the Mega Ball of 15.
The Classic Lotto jackpot for Saturday’s drawing will be $8.2 million because no one correctly picked Wednesday’s winning numbers of 12, 19, 21, 30, 35 and 49.
If that’s not enough good news for you, the third-level non-jackpot prize (four white balls and the red Powerball) will increase from $10,000 to $50,000 in October. “Also in Friday’s drawing, a ticket sold in Ohio matched the five white balls to win $1 million”.
The next National Lottery draw will be on Wednesday August 5.
The Iowa Lottery paid out $197 million in prizes – the second most in Iowa Lottery history.
Powerball and Mega Millions ticket sales fell, a trend tied to fewer monster jackpots during the year. According to USA Today the odds of winning the jackpot will increase to 1 in 285,981,696 starting October 7.
