In my experience, Kerbal Space Program is a game in which a race of huggable space people who look like the zombified children of Beaker from the Muppets die in horribly preventable explosions.

If you’re a fan of space simulation games, you’ll be glad to find out that it’s headed to Xbox One later this year (via Xbox Wire). And that’s half the fun.

The PC release of Kerbal Space Program launched out of Early Access earlier this year, and is now available for Windows, Mac and Linux on Steam. Now, on the heels of the Xbox One release announcement, the developers have begun talking about the game’s next major patch, which will apparently rework numerous game’s core systems and greatly improve stability, as well as adding a lot of new features. Do a lackluster job and you’ll watch time and time again as your ship and the Kerbal critters inside go boom.
