The 29-year-old singer’s lawyer has revealed that she has written 28 new songs and delivered them to Kemosabe Records with hopes of releasing a new single and album soon. Her lawyer Daniel Petrocelli says the dismissal was filed so she can focus her legal efforts in NY, where she has also sued the producer alleging he raped her and frequently ridiculed her.

“Kesha has dismissed her California action without prejudice while she pursues her appeal and other legal claims in the NY courts”, Daniel Petrocelli, a member of Kesha’s legal team, explained in a statement to ET.

Kesha’s filing Monday to drop the case comes after a almost 2-year battle with her famous producer.

Kesha sued Dr Luke back in 2014 for alleged sexual assault and has rarely been involved in the music scene since.

She has also delivered new music to her record label and is looking to move ahead with her career as soon as possible, according to the statement.

Artist Kesha sings “I Shall Be Released” at the Dylan Fest at Ryman Auditorium on Monday, May 23, 2016, in Nashville, Tenn.

However, Kesha and her team could provide any failure to make the tracks available as proof Sony and Luke are refusing to release her music.

The “Tik Tok” hit maker has reportedly submitted 28 songs to end her contract with Gottwald and Sony Music. Kesha never should have brought her false and meritless claims against Dr. Luke in any court.
