Key aide may have cemented Trump-Palin union
Donald Trump is brandishing the endorsement of conservative Republican firebrand Sarah Palin in the increasingly intense 2016 GOP presidential sweepstakes, giving the billionaire businessman a boost against Texas Sen. But Palin, who was expected to campaign alongside her new political ally Wednesday, was a no show at the Iowa rally.

The former Alaska Governor’s son was arrested this past week for domestic violence.
The experience, she added, “makes me realize more than ever it is now or never, for the sake of America’s finest, that we have that commander in chief who will respect them and honor them”.
This was Trump’s second trip to Oklahoma on his campaign tour.
Palin’s son, Track, posted bail Tuesday following his arraignment on charges related to a domestic violence incident that took place at the family’s residence Tuesday evening.
Last summer, Trump said that he would “love” to give Palin a position in his cabinet if were to be elected.
Palin, 26, was charged with fourth-degree assault, fourth-degree misconduct involving a weapon and interfering with a report of domestic violence after an altercation with his girlfriend turned physical.
“Good for Sarah, she’s back in the news again”. Ted Cruz, a frequent tormentor of Republican leaders who is a strong contender for the nomination.
The influential tea party star trekked to the South with Trump – less than 24 hours after she endorsed the GOP front-runner in Iowa – to serve up a Palin-esque platter of red meat to a midday political rally here, one of the states voting March 1 in the crucial SEC portion of the Republican primary.
“They’re going to have to do an image remake of her”, said Joani Estes, 56, of Indianola, Iowa.
Earlier Tuesday, Cruz faced another blow to his efforts in Iowa, after the state’s Republican Gov. Terry Branstad said at a renewable fuels conference near Des Moines that Iowans should reject Cruz because he supports phasing out the fuel standard. “Believe me. Not going to happen”. “I wish her well, I’m glad she’s back in public life”.
Trump talked about the attack on religion, gun control and the war on terrorism.
And Palin, who championed everyday Americans with her folksy “pitbull mom” appeal in 2008, also touted Trump as the only candidate not subservient to the “campaign donor class” who will fight for real Americans.
“Oh my goodness gracious”. “We were planning a pheasant hunt for the next day, and I just didn’t press hard enough to hold Sarah for the next day (hunt)”.
