Getting, the prosecutor, said he thinks Dalton will be charged on more than a dozen counts.

He allegedly crashed his vehicle after gunning down one woman in an apartment complex, and later somehow obtained another. He said suspect Jason Dalton, 45, of Kalamazoo County, had no known links to any of his victims and the victims didn’t have any ties to each other.
Jeffrey Getting, the Kalamazoo County prosecutor, grew emotional at a news conference on Sunday morning as he described the chaotic scene and the scramble by the police to respond to the shootings and find the gunman.
A Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department official told the Kalamazoo Gazette that it appeared the gunman was driving around and shooting people randomly.
The carnage began early Saturday evening when Matyas said police were first called to a Kalamazoo County apartment building where a woman was shot multiple times before later being listed in serious condition.
He then moved on to a Ford auto dealership four miles away where a father and his 18-year-old son were shot dead.
State police said Sunday that the four people killed in the Cracker Barrel parking lot were: Mary Lou Nye, 62, of Baroda, Mich.; Mary Jo Nye, 60, of Battle Creek, Mich.; Dorothy Brown, 74, of Battle Creek, Mich.; and Barbara Hawthorne, 68, of Battle Creek, Mich.
A retired teacher, a woman who was simply standing outside her apartment, a father and son who were checking out cars at a dealership and a 14-year-old girl who was on her way home after seeing a play are among the victims of a man who went on a shooting rampage in Kalamazoo on Saturday.
Less than 8 miles away, the third shooting occurred, this time outside a Cracker Barrel restaurant. The Uber driver picked up and dropped off passengers between shootings, according to CNN. Anyone found to be in violation of the policy may be prohibited from using or driving for the service.
He said: “He would go a month without mowing his lawn but was very meticulous with his cars”.
Progressive Insurance confirmed that he once worked for the company before leaving in 2011. They pulled the vehicle over without incident.
Dalton was the driver that picked him up.
“We grieve for those taken and their loved ones, and we pray for strength for the injured”, Giffords and Kelly’s statement said.
“Several people have said that Dalton was their driver for Uber”, WWMT reports.

Authorities were interviewing Dalton and reviewing his phone.
