Key & Peele Movie: Red-Band Trailer For Keanu Is Here!

The film centres around Peele as an upper-middle class suburban type who adopts an impossibly cute kitten after a bad break-up, dubbing the wee floof Keanu. Both he and his best friend, Clarence (Key), immediately become enamored with the furry little creature, and so they’re crushed when someone breaks into the apartment and takes him.

Keanu also stars Nia Long, Method Man, Rob Huebel and Luis Guzman. It’s scheduled for a release of April 29, 2016, but the trailer just says “coming soon”, so hang in there and hug a kitty while you wait.

The Keanu Twitter account recently shared the movie poster, which features the adorable “gangsta pet” himself. Check out the first trailer below. I’m not so sure about Will Forte’s character, though. Bottom line, this looks like another knock out from the wildly clever, relentlessly goofy comedic duo. As we learned with John Wick, there’s nothing like a furry loved one to inspire rampant violence.

Sketch comedy show Key & Peele may have ended previous year, but the comedy duo Jordan Peele and Keegan-Michael Key have returned, with plans to hit the big screen with a movie named “Keanu”. When Rell’s beloved kitten, Keanu, is catnapped, the hopelessly straight-laced pair must impersonate ruthless killers in order to infiltrate a street gang and retrieve the purloined feline.
