KFC Introduces Odd-Looking Pink Burger

I wouldn’t eat a regular chicken sandwich in the totalitarian country for fear it contains lead and MSG, and you can bet your last dollar I would refrain from tasting a pink chicken KFC sandwich. And now comes KFC China’s bright pink burger bun.

But the fast-food chain has devised something to rescue its falling numbers… although we’re unsure quite how popular this new creation will prove.

The buns come with the “black diamond bacon spicy chicken leg burger” and the “rose cheese roasted chicken leg burger”, each at a price of about $2.80 U.S. Not really anything appetizing about that one, but KFC has made a name overseas with their gimmicky food.

One diner, Chris Tweten, tweeted: ‘Chinese #KFC is #MindBlowing and not in a good way.

It lacks the moulded appearance and the filling is also deflated.

The rose number debuted alongside a new black burger, called the “black diamond bacon spicy chicken leg burger”.
