So, this week, they rolled out 3,000 bottles of Col. Sanders’ Extra Crispy Sunscreen with an SPF 30 and the heavenly scent of fried chicken. The website now features a cheeky message saying “This was a limited time offer and we ran out of KFC Extra Crispy Sunscreen”.

KFC’s spokeswoman, Kasey Mathes, said they think it smells awesome.

Reporters for the Associated Press tested out the sunscreen but said the smell didn’t really remind them of chicken.
Tell us: would you try the Extra Crispy Chicken Sunscreen? Time Magazine reported that delivery of the KFC sunscreen will take about eight weeks, so there is no user testimonial available yet. One person said it smelled just as intended – like fried chicken’s crispy outer coating. KFC explicitly reminded customers that even though the sunscreen “smells delicious”, it is not delicious and is even poisonous when consumed. Correct us if we’re wrong, but if your skin resembles anything close to “extra crispy” consult your dermatologist immediately, you lunatic.
Fans will also find a special message from the Extra Crispy Colonel, played by the world famous actor George Hamilton, on the website.
Incidentally, this isn’t KFC’s first foray into beauty products.
