Khalil Mack among three Raiders named to Pro Bowl, three alternates
Woodson announced on Monday night that he is going to step away from the game following the 2015 season, making Thursday night’s game against the San Diego Chargers the final one he will play in Oakland.

He announced Monday that he will retire at the end of the season.
“An incredible career, man. It goes beyond words. As I think he said, he’s still doing it. It’s wonderful that he can still really run and in watching the tape, every time the ball is turned over, he is the one ends up with the fumble or an interception it seems like”.
“So many of [my] teammates throughout this year have talked to me about next year”.
“There’s so many players that played this sport and other sports that would like to go out that way, playing well, doing what they love to do, so yeah, I feel very good about the way I performed, not only this year, but my whole career”, he told reporters. Where it’s going, it would be great to grow with this group of guys. I never intended on playing as long as I had.
It’s the first time in four years the Raiders will send multiple players to the NFL’s annual all-star game, which will be played January 31 in Honolulu.
One of those with whom he warms up, Cooper, discounted his own Pro Bowl credentials despite being the Raiders’ first 1,000-yard receiver since Randy Moss in 2005. He played with the Green Bay Packers from 2006-2012 before returning to Oakland.
Woodson spent seven years with the Packers and helped the team win Super Bowl XLV.
His 13 defensive touchdowns have him tied with Rod Woodson for the most in National Football League history. Of course, the next stop is Canton, Ohio, for Mr. Woodson, but, until the Pro Football Hall of Fame comes a-calling, Charles should embrace retirement the way he embraced football. “They love this team”.
When Woodson won the Heisman award in 1997 for MI, he did it primarily as a defensive player, but the Wolverines did use him on offense as well. That season he had nine interceptions and scored three touchdowns. “Great career, great person, I’m proud to have share these two seasons with him”. But he decided he wanted to spend more time with his family, his winery and perhaps start a TV career.
“We’ll see what happens”, Woodson said.
“I knew the morning of the Detroit game”. We’re sure happy they made that decision and we got a chance to get our hands on him. He returned in time for the playoffs, but at the age of 36, following a position change and an injury, Green Bay was understandably skeptical that there was anything left to give. It may potentially be the final game the Raiders play in Oakland.
“I thought he played pretty well”, Del Rio said.

Thursday night’s game will surely be emotional in Oakland.
