Khizr Khan Blasts Trump Over Purple Heart: ‘You Dodged The Draft!’
“A man came up to me and handed his Purple Heart”, explained Trump.

The medal, awarded to military members wounded or killed during service, was given to Donald Trump, he said, by a veteran at Trump’s rally in Virginia.
Her sentiments echo those Purple Heart recipient Sean Barney, who issued a scathing message for Trump: “No one should ever “want” one of these”. “I said nice things about the son and I feel that very strongly, but of course I was hit very hard from the stage and you know, it’s just one of those things”.
“Man, that’s like, big stuff”.
“Actually, I was only kidding, you can get the baby out of here”, the Republican nominee said to laughter and applause. “This was much easier”. “I have such confidence in you”.
Trump then read the veteran’s name, “Lt. Col. Louis Dorfman” off of the badge, and brought him on stage to chants of “U-S-A!”

“Donald trump proves every single day that he is unfit to be President of the United States”.
Yes, the Republican presidential nominee stood onstage and crowed about his dream of receiving a military honor reserved for those wounded or killed in action. Trump’s flippant and repugnant reply: “I always wanted to get…”
“I think she really believed me, that I love having a baby crying while I’m speaking”, Trump said. Khan told CNN that he did not need an apology from Trump but would rather see him show empathy. He couldn’t remember which heel was affected (his campaign said it was both) or how it was resolved, but it was enough to keep him out of combat. “I was fortunate, in a sense, because I was not a believer in the Vietnam war”, Trump said.
