“I ask Donald Trump, ‘Have you no sense of decency, Sir?'” Buffett said. I will not control his speech, and he will not control my vote.

Ghazala Kahn responded to Trump’s remarks in an op-ed for the Washington Post on Sunday.

She was extremely quiet, and it looked like she had nothing to say. Given the state of the world today, we have to know everything about those looking to enter our country, and given the state of chaos in some of these countries, that is impossible.

Saldivar said she was speaking out because her sister, Torres’ mother, could not bring herself to do it without breaking down. “She probably – maybe she wasn’t allowed anything to say”, Trump said in an interview with ABC’s “This Week”.

The Democrats pounced on Trump’s comments, as more evidence, they say, that he’s unfit to be commander-in-chief. “Donald Trump shows a shocking lack of respect to those who serve in the military”. “I can also tell you if you go to any national cemetery, especially Arlington, you’re going to see crescent moons there”.

Muslim women initiated the #CanYouHearUsNow hashtag on Twitter after the Gold Star Army mom’s column ran.

Bill O’Reilly invited Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on the “O’Reilly Factor” Tuesday to address the Capt. Khan controversy that has earned Trump the rebuke of conservatives and liberals alike.

“While our party has bestowed upon him the nomination, it is not accompanied by unfettered license to defame those who are the best among us”, McCain said in an unusually lengthy statement.

Khizr Khan gave an emotional tribute to his son last week at the Democratic National Convention that was also heavily critical of Trump. Ron Johnson has called on Trump to apologize, and U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan and Gov. Scott Walker have defended the Khan family.

“My religion or my family or my culture never stopped me saying whatever I want to say”, Mrs. Khan said on CNN.
