Meet Damir Raspiyev, a 21-year-old hockey player who single-handedly ended Barys Astana’s game against the Kunlun Red Star after he attempted to fight the entirety of the opposing team.
For a player that hasn’t done much besides skating back and forth to the penalty box during his KHL career, Ryspayev’s name sure has been on the lips of the hockey world this week.
As the Kunlun player laid on the ice, Ryspayev then decided he was going to fight the entire other team.
Ryspayev began by sucker-punching a Kunlun player, and even tried picking him up by the jersey before officials stopped him.
To understand just how vicious Ryspayev is, he earned 83 penalty minutes in seven games last season and 194 penalty minutes in 23 KHL games.
