Khloe Kardashian Opens Up About Cancer Scare
In a post titled “My Skin Cancer Scare”, she wrote about the realities of living with cancerous moles – in order to encourage more people to speak to their doctors about skin cancer. “I had 8 inches of skin removed”, she wrote. As a result, the highly popular TV personality had eight inches of her skin removed.

According to Kardashian, she also had to get tests done after finding a mole that had started growing under her breast.
In a Keeping Up With The Kardashians episode which aired on January, the youngest of the three Kardashian sisters insisted she wasn’t interested in having the knowledge.
“A couple of years ago, I noticed one growing under my breast”.
Khloe continued: ‘They took the whole thing out and they biopsied it. Thankfully, it was benign.
According to the Lauren Savoy Olinde Foundation, which Khloe referenced in her post, skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the US and one in five Americans will develop the disease in the course of their lifetime.
“I haven’t had a problem in years, but wanted to share my experience with you so that if you notice something doesn’t look right, you will take action and take care of your health!” she noted.
Khloe also urged her readers to do regular checks and immediately see a doctor if they notice something wrong.
The reality star, who has been through an emotional rollercoaster over the past several years from her relationship with estranged husband, Lamar Odom, went on to advise all her fans “to check yourself frequently!”.
Khloe is not the only celebrity to battle the disease – actor Hugh Jackman has undergone five surgeries related to skin cancer, with his latest taking place earlier this year (16).
Are you proud of Khloe for sharing her story?
Kris argued: ‘Do you want to die when you’re 30 or do you want to die when you’re 85?’
