Kia’s Super Bowl ad to feature Christopher Walken closet
Kia’s Super Bowl ad is actually quite inspired.

Just like it previewed a week ago, Kia’ s Super Bowl 50 commercial revolves around Academy Award-winner Christopher Walken and a pair of socks, one of which is beige and the other being of the colorful variety.
What do you get when you combine a large closet with Christopher Walken? Many companies are focused on delivering the funniest commercials of the game.
Walken has long since established himself as an actor unafraid to have a bit of fun; he starred in a TV spot for Danish clothing brand Jack & Jones back in 2013 and memorably featured in Fatboy Slim’s “Weapon of Choice” music video in 2002. And Kia was about the only decent looking model in the segment before the new Honda Accord and facelifted Toyota Camry came to the party.
The actor snaps his fingers, and the walls of the Walken closet fall away to reveal white sedan.
“There are two types of people in the world”.
“‘Then there are those who expect more; they have pizzazz”.
Audi’s 60-second commercial will run during the first quarter of the game, and tells the story of a retired astronaut reflecting on his life before his son hands him the keys to the all-new Audi R8 V10 Plus, which reignites his passion for living. “They’re exciting. They have pizzazz”.
“It’s like the world’s most exciting pair of socks, but it’s a mid-sized sedan”, quips Christopher Walken.

The commercial was created by David&Goliath who’s chief creative officer said “There are a few special moments in one’s career”. “We are never afraid to challenge conventional thinking and go our own way, and our #AddPizzazz efforts are the latest example of what makes Kia, and the Optima, stand out”.
