Despite slipping from favourite to bookies now predicting she’s second from bottom in the popularity list, her mates say Jorgie – who plays blonde beauty Theresa McQueen – has done them proud.

Sitting down for a chat with presenters Ant & Dec, Jorgie confirmed: “I am so happy!” “She’s Newcastle through and through and I know it hurts her that while she gets a great reception from people in other places, even in the likes of Denmark and Mexico when she’s been there, she doesn’t always get it when she’s at home”. “I’m disappointed – but to come fourth… when I walked in there I thought I was coming out twelfth”.

I’m A Celebrity’s Kieron Dyer (ITV/Rex/Shutterstock) “At the time when those two left, I thought that was the end for me”. When it came to refusing to be her servant [in a challenge], that was just because I don’t wear bellboy hats very well.

“Speaking about winning stars for camp she said: “[It’s] the best feeling doing something for everyone and they’re all waiting for you”.

When she’s not enjoying banter with fellow Geordies Ant and Dec in the bushtucker trial clearing, remember her response to crickets getting in her trousers- “He’s in me pants already, that’s fast work that like!”- Vicky has been priceless viewing in the Bushtucker Trial when she’s been giving her take on events in camp.

The fab five – Vicky Pattison, Ferne McCann, Jorgie Porter, Kieron Dyer and George Shelley – had to get the five yellow stars on to the markers.

Jorgie was lowered into a lift shaft where she had to make her way through a bank vault and collect stars as she went along.

Thankfully, George, 22 and Ferne, 25, made it up and began talking about their plans outside of the jungle.

As I’m A Celebrity …

“My worst part was when Chris and Lady C left, I was so grumpy”. Get Me Out Of Here! will be announced on Sunday from 9pm.

During this vile eating trial involving Jorgie Porter and Lady C, the 66-year-old author used her knife and fork to cut up the jungle nasties on her plate. “Disaster Chef! That was the most strongest I was – I ate three cockroaches live, that was horrific”.
