Kiko Alonso injury not believed to be an ACL tear
Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks exited Sunday’s Week 2 game against the Dallas Cowboys with a left hamstring injury. Alonso missed the entire 2014 season with a torn ACL, the same knee he injured Sunday.

Although Alonso’s ailment is more alarming because of his history of knee troubles, Kendricks’ issue is concerning as well.
A few minutes later, it was announced that the former Bill, acquired in the offseason for LeSean McCoy, has suffered a left knee injury and will not return to the game.
The Eagles had hoped that Alonso would bring a playmaking ability to the linebacking corps, and in his first game he did just that. Alonso was on the field for the opener and made a remarkable one-handed interception of Matt Ryan in the team’s loss to the Falcons.
This has to be a cause for concern for the Eagles.
Two separate sources close to Alonso also said that the inside linebacker is optimistic the injury is not serious. He also missed some crucial time at training camp with tendinitis in the same leg.

There are conflicting rumors on whether the Philadelphia Eagles have lost Kiko Alonso for the year.
