Pilots communicate with each other and decided when to take off and land, FOX 5 Atlanta reported.

WSB-TV reports (http://2wsb.tv/2casnZl ) Bud Benefield, a deputy fire chief for Carroll County, confirmed three people died in the crash.

However, investigators have not confirmed those details. Jeff Richards with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says 24-year-old Taylor Nicole Stone of East Ridge, Tennessee was a flight instructor and one of her students was in the plane with her.

The pilot told authorities that both of the planes appeared to be landing at the same time when “one came on top of the other” and caused the collision. “At this point in time we can’t really confirm that”. The planes were a Diamond Aircraft DA20C1 and a Beech F33A. Fire officials were on the scene investigating, she said.

No one survived the crash. One of the planes was coming from the Falcon Aviation Academy in Newnan.
