Kim Fields: Former ‘Facts of Life’ star joins ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’

After months of rumors, the trailer finally introduces to us a fierce new character, former Facts of Life star Kim Fields. Actress and director Kim Fields joins the ladies this season and although she is new to the mix, she is no stranger to the spotlight. “Looking forward to a great season!!” The season premieres on November 8.

Fields, 46, became a TV star in the 1980s playing Dorothy “Tootie” Ramsay on the classic sitcom, “The Facts of Life“. She appeared in Season 7. She’ll be joined by show vets Parks, Cynthia Bailey, Kenya Moore, Porsha Willams and mom-to-be Kandi Burruss, as well as fellow newcomer Shamea Morton. And with Sheree Whitfield’s return to the series, season 8 is shaping up to be a must-see for the franchise’s fans.

Kenya Moore is back on her dating kick with a new mentality to date like a man. I guess as long as she still “Thinks like a woman” she should be fine. Williams has also returned to her aspiration to have a baby after her divorce with Kordell Stewart.

Season eight of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is nearly here, and in the meantime, we’ve got an out-of-control trailer to tide us over.

That’s not the only change for Season 8 of RHOA.

Sheree’s return also promises a lot of drama as she and Kenya are about to stir the pot and reignite old feuds, while Cynthia and Peter’s marriage goes through a rough patch when a video of Peter getting too close to another woman makes the rounds online.

RHOA vet Parks, however, may have the toughest road ahead of her. The attorney continues to break down over her tumultuous relationship with her husband, Apollo Nida, as he remains behind bars for his $2.3 million bank fraud. I loved the way the trailer tried to get us excited indicating there may be complications.
