The couple welcomed their baby boy Saturday morning and “mother and son are doing well”, according to a statement on the reality star’s website.
The newborn is Kim and Kanye’s second child, after North. She was meant to give birth on Christmas Day of all days, but it seems the new member of the family couldn’t wait another three weeks. Whilst reports did say that Kim would give birth at some point in December, the pair have kept her due date under wraps.
Kardashian implied she was in labor Friday in an Instagram post of her belly captioned “waiting”.
Kardashian documented the ups and downs of this pregnancy in monthly updates on her website, from food cravings to placenta issues and complications from breech presentation.
The couple has confirmed the news on Kim’s web site, where she posted a message titled: “KANYE AND I WELCOME OUR BABY BOY!”.
And she obviously not lost her sense of humor as it read: “Ready whenever you are”.
Kardashian did not announce the baby’s name and no additional details were disclosed.
Kardashian and West, who married in May 2014, welcomed their first child, daughter North West, in June 2013.
However, Kim has also been preparing for the birth of her son by getting him plenty of fun gifts too.
