Kim Kardashian clears up confusion over her 2016 candidate choice
Whether it’s Donald Trump’s net worth, his wife, his media savvy, lavish lifestyle, Reality TV background, or love of the spotlight, Donald Trump and Kim Kardashian may have a lot more in common than they think – though, thankfully, The Donald has not released a sex tape. It picked up steam when the Huffington Postran an article citing The Evening Standard and confirmed the validity of her quotes, but later clarified that her statement did not appear in the online or print version of her Wonderland magazine cover story. But I also thought about how not voting would mean that I wasn’t making my voice heard, so I made a decision to talk to my closest friends and family who I love and trust, to have an open conversation about politics.

Well, that didn’t sit too well with the collective Internet, so Kim took to her official website on Saturday to put her words into context. and make it very clear she’s “with her”.
Kim Kardashian is not down with Donald Trump.
Kardashian explained that she had a “long conversation” with her stepparent Caitlyn Jenner, who encouraged her to research the candidates and their policies before making a decision.
“I believe we owe it to ourselves, and to each other, to ask questions”, she continued. We should start at a place of openness, receptiveness and honesty, and we should talk to those we love, trust and respect’.
Kardashian added that she had a “long conversation” with Jenner, who is a longtime Republican and has previously expressed support for Trump.
In her statement, Kim, 35, said she had chose to back Democrat Hillary after “careful consideration” of issues important to her and her children’s future, including gun control and women’s rights.
“Without a doubt, I stand with Hillary”, Kardashian West wrote. “I believe Hillary will best represent our country and is the most qualified for the job”. “I would never judge anyone based on their political or religious beliefs”, she wrote.
Now, just one day later, KKW has walked back that previous quote and reinforced what she knew all along: she’s with Hillary Clinton.

She also wrote that she believed both Clinton and Trump “have the intention of making the country a safer and stronger place for every American”. “I got my selfie!”
