Kim Kardashian’s selfie book ‘Selfish’ didn’t sell

Kardashian also mentions she uses selfies as a tool to make sure her husband approves of what she’s wearing.

It looks like there is hope for society after all, because the numbers are in, and Kim Kardashian’s selfie book that was released in May, appropriately titled Selfish, was a complete and total financial flop.

This is according to the gossip site Radar, which also noted the 600-or-so reviewers gave the book two-and-a-half stars. This figure represents just 0.8% of Kardashian’s Instagram followers. “(*Nielsen BookScan’s U.S. Consumer Market Panel now covers approximately 85% of the print book market and continues to grow.)”, the celebrity publication notes.

At least, however, it didn’t sell as badly as Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s sic-fi novel, Rebels: City of Indra.

As a comparison books by other reality stars, such as Holly Madison’s Down The Rabbit Hole (which I can not wait to read!) is ranked #205 on Amazon and rated one of the best books of 2015 in the Memoirs category.

Here are a list of things that I understand about Kim Kardashian.

On average, she posts about 2 or 3 selfies a day on social media, but she has moments when that number can go as high as 10 or more.

Or, perhaps people would just rather keep the selfies on their screens rather than on their coffee tables.

Just-released figures from Nielsen Bookscan indicate that around 32,000 Americans have purchased the book since earlier this year, with many labelling it a flop as a result. The customer reviews are both critical and amusing.
