Kim Kardashian Sheds 17 Pounds Afater Saint West’s Birth
Kim Kardashian also posted a photo on Twitter, showing her pill-form placenta in a mason jar. As of Tuesday, she had already lost 17 pounds and her goal is to reach her ideal weight of 120 pounds. What do you think about Kim’s plans?

The sisters are incredibly close, so when it came to choosing godparents for little baby Saint, it’s no surprise that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star kept it in the family. “You are looking much better”, Caitlyn complimented her stepdaughter. But she has a good reason for doing it: avoiding post-partum depression.
Kim recently shared with fans that she decided to make newborn son Saint’s placenta into pills in an effort to ward off postpartum depression.
Kardashian West, 35, said she heard stories during her pregnancy with daughter North, 2, of other mothers who steered clear of placenta encapsulation and then suffered postpartum depression with their first child.
Kim Kardashian has never been one to shy away from discussing the not so glamorous parts of pregnancy and that hasn’t changed since her second child, Saint West was born.
“So”, concluded Kim, “I thought, why not try it?”
Despite reports of a hard birth the second time around, she is said to be recovering well, and in a post on her website, revealed the reason. “What do I have to lose?” she confessed on kimkardashianwest.com.
The first child is a baby girl and she is named North West.
Some said that eating or consuming the placenta rakes in many benefits such the “surge of energy” that Kardashian-West mentioned and quantity of breast milk produced.
Whether to eat the placenta or not is a hot topic.

Additionally, celebrity trainer and nutritionist Charlene Ciardiello says that Kim needs to move it, as in grabbing her kids and putting them in the stroller and walking or jogging around the neighborhood.
