In a statement on her website kimkardashianwest.com, a spokesman for the couple wrote: ‘Kim Kardashian West and her husband, Kanye West, welcomed the arrival of their son this morning.

While the baby’s name has not yet been announced, Kardashian has said that, as with daughter North, it was the last thing the couple decided on. Kim announced the good news on her website as well as on Twitter.

Famed O.J. Simpson lawyer Robert – who Kim’s younger brother, Rob Kardashian, is also named after – died of cancer in 2003, at the age of 59.
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star had, before Thanksgiving, talked of the possibility of a C-section as the baby was in a breech position, presenting with buttocks first instead of his head. According to a source, during the first time that he held the baby, “Kanye placed one of his fingers on the baby’s heart and told Kim that he and his son’s heartbeat have the same rhythm. I don’t think my husband likes that name, but do like it”.
The reality star has been quite open about her fertility issues over the years and it’s been quite a ride for her. In an earlier interview with Glamour magazine, she spoke about some of her fears with regards to having a second baby.

Everyone knows that West isn’t shy about claiming himself a “god” or suggesting he is some kind of legendary musical genius, and what better way to keep your legacy going than by calling your child by your own name?
