Kim Kardashian has eaten the placenta of her newborn son Saint West, and hopes it could reduce the risk of post-natal depression.

While we’re all about Kim Kardashian celebrating motherhood again, we do wish she’d keep some details about her pregnancy journey to herself like this one about including her plans to eat her placenta.
“I don’t wanna overly describe it or overly try to hype it up. What do I have to lose?” However, this isn’t the first time she would be doing this, sharing that she also consumed her own placenta after giving birth to North in order to help prevent postpartum depression.

But it looks like this will be the first and last time the Kardashian takes placenta pills after reports she has been advised against having more children.
“She had a really tough birth because of the issues with her placenta”, the source said.
Now that she’s taking it, Kardashian-West said they are effective.

It seems like the logical choice after Kim already designated Kourtney Kardashian as baby North West’s godparent.
