Kim Kardashian West’s app breaks Apple Store
Kardashian released her “KIMOJI” app and users were so keen to express themselves Kardashian style that Apple’s app store ran into some serious problems. Such was the rush; the App Store apparently started crashing. But the reality star soon realised that not everybody was having such and easy time with the app, as some users complained it wasn’t working for them. Apple confirmed to BuzzFeed News that its App Store did not go down yesterday – for any reason.

She later tweeted: “Ok!”
She wrote: “We worked so hard on this app and we know there are some issues due to the massive downloads that the whole tech team is so working on!” We’re back! Everything is fixed! The Kimoji app became available on the Apple store on Monday, for the price of $1.99.
She also shared how her family is excited to use these new series of emojis. It’s possible Apple prioritized indexing the app to ensure more people could find it by late Monday afternoon, but in no way did Kimoji “break” the App Store for any period of time.
On Monday morning, when fans encountered problems downloading 250 Kim Kardashian-themed images-including her ugly cry, a waist trainer, and her derrière from the Paper magazine shoot-the reality star took to Twitter to claim that demand for her Kimojis was so great that it crashed Apple’s app site.
The app outranks her sister’s ‘Kylie Jenner Official App, ‘ which is at No. 5.

It also ranks No. 11 on the current overall highest-grossing apps, behind favorites such as King Digital Entertainment’s KING, -0.06% Candy Crush, Pandora P, -0.14% and Spotify.
