Kim Zolciak Eliminated From DWTS After Skipping Competition Following Stroke

During the hit ABC dancing competition show, Zolciak Skyped in to talk about her condition after suffering a mini stroke last week. While it’s not a total shock that Zolciak won’t continue to compete on the show after her recent serious health scare, according to a report from TMZ on September 28, the Bravo star was blindsided by producers’ decision to boot her from the show. The star announced in another post that she had to undergo a heart procedure before she could go home.

For those who haven’t been keeping up, the Tardy for the Party star was unable to make it to Los Angeles to perform on Monday’s TV-themed show after being hospitalized following a mini-stroke. She was discharged from the hospital on Friday, September 25.

Kim Zolciak added she’s now at home with her family and that she’s resting and taking good care of her health.

Zolciak has been updating her fans via Instagram, posting photos from her hospital bed throughout the ordeal. I’m forever grateful for my dance partner@tonydovolani who has always supported me and All Of you my unbelievable fans!!!!!!!!

Kim was determined to stay in the competition but was forced by Dancing With The Stars to withdraw on Monday night.

Kim Zolciak refuses to hang her dancing shoes just yet. So far, Kim’s petition has gained more than 17,000 signatures. She captioned the video, “I practiced for hours Saturday I was so excited to be there tonight!” You mad cause I didn’t come on your show! “I am so happy she listened to the doctors”, he said. “He even brings me my favorite coffee”.

While the rules may be the rules, Kim is certainly not going quietly into the night … and the same goes for her partner Tony Dovolani. It’s true that Kim had not displayed much inclination towards dancing so she probably had a very small chance to win the trophy, but she deserves a proper chance, just like everyone else, people are saying. We’ve had people withdraw before, just not in this fashion.
