Kimbo Slice son Kevin Ferguson Jr to Fight on Bellator Card
Kevin Ferguson Jr., son to the late combat sports sensation “Kimbo Slice”, will make his mixed martial arts (MMA) debut at the upcoming Bellator 160: “Henderson vs. Pitbull” event on August 26, 2016, inside Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., on Spike TV. He was scheduled to headline Bellator 158 against James Thompson on July 16, but had been advised to pull out of the bout.

Ferguson has two younger brothers and three younger sisters.
Saad Awad (19-7 MMA, 7-4 BMMA) is set to take on fellow Californian Derek Anderson (13-2 MMA, 4-2 BMMA) at Bellator 160, the promotion today announced.
Bellator is likely to build up Ferguson against comparable competition. Now the 33-year-old San Bernardino, Calif. native will look to put his unique skillset on full display in front of his friends and family when he enters the cage in Anaheim, Calif. It will be his first outing as a professional. Awad has won four of his last five under the Bellator MMA banner and he does hold a win over UFC veteran Will Brooks. A large mass was also discovered on his liver.

Ferguson signed a developmental deal with Bellator in April, shortly after his amateur debut in MA. Davis trains at Antonio McKee’s “Body Shop Gym” alongside other “Bellator 160” competitors A.J. McKee, Bubba Jenkins and “Baby Slice”. Kevin Ferguson Jr. doesn’t just take after his father in terms of name, he takes after him in the ring, winning his first fight in 83 seconds. (0-0 MMA, 0-0 BMMA), the oldest son of Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson, for the preliminary card. MMA reporter Chuck Mindenhall was on-site to cover the story.
