King calls for Leicester ‘statement’ at Anfield
He urged fans to make lots of noise at the first game in the newly expanded stadium on Saturday when the Reds host Premier League champions Leicester.

In the last eight years, the Reds have maintained an undefeated record against reigning Premier League champions at Anfield.
Liverpool return to action after the worldwide break with Klopp believing his players are ready to kick on after a mixed start to the campaign.
Liverpool rarely threatened to break down the Clarets that afternoon, but Klopp expects his attacking players to be far more potent with the backing of the Anfield crowd.
Leicester City’s title winning season was an achievement like we haven’t seen in a long time, if ever.
This saw the addition of over 8,000 seats, as well as the improvement of facilities both inside and outside the stadium.
All systems go for Saturday!
“I will never be standing in the middle of the interest of my player but it doesn’t mean I have to shut up when I see things are not being done in a good way”.
“The stand is better than before and we have to fill the stadium with life – starting tomorrow”. I was really impressed and thought “OK, we have to bring the team here before we play”, because otherwise you come in and it’s so impressive that you can not stop thinking about it.
“You have to speak about this before the window closes because that’s the moment you can make decisions and that’s what I did. It’s really awesome”, Klopp said.
“Their one big strength is the counter attack”.
Liverpool have conceded six goals in their first three games of the season, tied with Watford and Stoke City for worst in the league, despite having conceded only 7.7 shots per game, third best in the league.
Mane also impressed against Tottenham in their last outing before the worldwide break, although the joint meanest defence of last season proved very hard to break down.
“It’s about bringing quality, they need to perform”.
The 49-year-old has accused Klopp of a lack of “respect”, days after branding him “a piece of shit” for his treatment of Balotelli. We did not isolate him.

“I know him, that’s all. I missed part of it but I think I’ve recovered”. “It’s a free world so he can say what he wants”.
