Kings, Seth Curry agree to 2-year deal

Curry has spent most of his pro career in the National Basteball Association Development League, where he has been an All-Star twice. That’s the system in which his big bro thrived, leading our own Shaun Powell not only to write about their fit but to speculate on the prospect of Seth joining the Pelicans for training camp in October. The Pelicans will be coached this season by Alvin Gentry, who served as an offensive coordinator of sorts on Steve Kerr’s staff with Golden State.

The person, who spoke to The Associated Press on Tuesday night on condition of anonymity because the contract had not been signed yet, said Curry holds a player option for the second year. He has appeared in four National Basteball Association games: one with Memphis and one with Cleveland in 2013-14 and two with Phoenix last season. Yahoo Sports first reported Seth Curry’s deal. While Curry’s scoring was voluminous in summer league, he shot just 22.2 percent from 3-point range.

After leaving Duke in 2013, Curry wasn’t drafted.

At age 24, Seth is three years younger than Stephen.
