Kit Harington apologizes to fans

After last week’s stall-setting season opener, Game of Thrones fans have finally discovered the fate of hero Jon Snow (Kit Harington). One of the popular theories was that the priestess of R’hllor, Melisande who serves Stannis Baratheon now and possesses mystical powers would bring Snow back.

If you’re a Game of Thrones fan, by now you’ve heard the good news.

Game of Thrones continues on HBO 9pm ET on Sunday’s.

“I’m not asking the Lord of Light for help”, says Davos.

“I’m glad that people were upset that he died”, Harrington confessed. “I think my biggest fear was that people were not going to care or just be fine Jon Snow’s dead”. Fans can finally stop asking the cast about the character, but this revelation has tremendous implications for the rest of the season as well as the show itself. Fans have wondered what would happen to Snow with every trailer that was released before its April 24 premiere.

He also told the magazine that this season is going to be “a massive season for Jon”.

Now that the truth of Jon Snow’s fate is out, fans can expect way more from the character than ever before on the show’s run.

Having apparently failed in her mission to bring Snow back to life, The Red Woman appeared distraught and left the room, as did everyone else. The report also indicated that Sansa Stark and Jon Snow were part of the scene, a reunion that is expected to take place in the sixth ASOIAF novel “The Winds of Winter” (except it would be between Arya and Jon).

Well, no, actually everyone that watches Game of Thrones and/or has read A Song of Ice and Fire saw that coming.

It turns out that Harington wasn’t exactly being honest – in fact, he flat-out lied.

Those who were able to remember, Ned told him in Season 1 that “The next time we see each other, we’ll talk about your mother, I promise”.
