Klitschko ready for unpredictable Fury
“I saw a man who is scared”.

“And how many times has he defended his titles?” He said he was aiming for “a spectacular finish”. He is also 12 years younger than Klitschko. Because make no mistake, there’s nobody out there other than Wlad that’s any good. But even Troy was breached with brains, wasn’t it?
“He’s the happiest I’ve seen him because he’s fighting for such a title”, Peter Fury told the AP.
He said: “Fury’s tactics should be to close the distance, get near to him, rough him up, try and bully him and stick the nut on him if he has to”. The gargantuan men that populate boxing’s glamor division have historically held such widespread appeal largely due to punching power and the omnipresent threat of knockouts.
“What would be better than a spectacular finish?”
“The clear win is the best when you get the stoppage”. There is controversy if it is on points sometimes, the wrong judgment, maybe a rematch. “But a win is a win”. The 39-year-old Klitschko, a pound lighter, again looked as if he could have been sculptured by Phidias.
“My ego is big and it gives me the motivation”. Talks also centered on Fury not facing any quality opposition, he’s clumsy and will be outgunned by the hard-hitting Ukrainian. You can’t make out you’re a traveller just like you can’t make out that you are black.
“He’s British and he’s a big man with a big character and a big punch”.
“Sorry to be so real, but let’s not dress this up – he (Klitschko) is mutton dressed as lamb”.
“It’s my life and it’s what I am and even if I had £10 million, I could still sleep in a caravan”. And if me at 27, in the prime of my life, can’t beat a 40-year-old, then I might as well pack it in. “I knew it from the first moment I laid eyes on him”.
Fury then removed his shirt prematurely and promptly put it back on for Klitschko’s entrance, made to his customary theme tune of Can’t Stop by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. I’m a thinker. I can adapt to any style thrown at me.
“He’s not somebody who’s going to get overcome by the event or anything”. “But everybody has a plan against me, has seen something nobody has seen before”. He doesn’t recover when he’s hit.
“But I just can’t see past a Klitschko win, between five and eight rounds”. Far from merely ticking the ‘I’m gonna smash my opponent into smithereens!’ cliché box, he has explained this gameplan on two fronts. “I think he’s very tense and uptight about this fight”.
For his part Klitschko is adamant the British challenger’s attempts to get under his skin have failed – but he adds that they will provoke a reaction in the ring.
Defence is a big key in this fight as well as attack, but if you’re too defensive you’ve got no attack… it’s a fine balance to get inside and short circuit Wladimir at what he does.

Klitschko’s been in some clunkers in his time as champion when he faced Alexander Povetkin, Mariusz Wach, David Haye and Jean-Marc Mormeck. Ready to face the dominant heavyweight champion of this era.
