Klopp has need for greed from shot-shy Liverpool
Although the Belgium global scored goals in the two matches immediately after Christmas, he drew a blank in Saturday’s defeat at West Ham and has so far not convinced but he is the 5/1 favourite to score the opening goal.

Liverpool has recently been inflicted with an injury crisis and eight players have started in the last three fixtures, thus giving Klopp no chances whatsoever to rotate the squad.
“We are often in situations where we can score goals and we don’t use them”.
Jürgen Klopp called it a day to be angry with themselves, a sentiment which the Croatian centre-back shared after full-time as he demanded his teammates to produce a response in the first-leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final against the Potters on Tuesday night.
The 30-year-old took his England tally to 51 goals, breaking Bobby Charlton’s longstanding record of 49, and top-scored with seven goals as Roy Hodgson’s side qualified for Euro 2016 with a ideal record of 10 wins.
Klopp suggested that his team was having problems in terms of carving out opportunities as well as finishing them off.
“If you think about problems in your own life too much then they rarely get better. We have to be more aggressive”, Klopp added.
“What Dan is doing right now is hard work, to prepare for the things we’re doing in a game”.
“We’ve got a new game coming up very quickly, the semi-final, so hopefully we can put things straight there because it’s very important”, Mignolet told Premier League Productions. “He was young when he was in Germany, a big talent with some problems, but everybody could see in his good moments how strong he could be”. “We’ll try to do our best in the next game – that’s Stoke so we’ll focus on that”. It will be a different game against Stoke.
“I think today as a team we were really good and when we are aggressive and do what we have to do we play well”.
“We were really serious in analysing”. If we play like this then it is possible for everybody to win against us and that is not allowed.
“We don’t want to go to Anfield (for the second leg) no longer being in the tie”. “Maybe one of the biggest changes in football is how Stoke played a few years ago and how they play now”.

“Yes of course. We have spoken three times more about this, and it is not good”.
