Klopp laments Liverpool’s lack of coolness
“I looked around, and thought, yes, White Hart Lane, a great stadium, there are worse places in the world to be, but then put that aside and got on with the game and the work”.

“Some things you can change instantly: mentality, readiness”, said Klopp, whose side is 10th in the table, a point below eighth-placed Tottenham.
Greeted by Germany flags in the away end bearing legends like “Liverpool Uber Alles”, Klopp handed a league debut to 20-year-old striker Divock Origi, who hit the bar in the early stages at White Hart Lane.
“The start was brilliant, we surprised them a little bit, but the problem in the game was when we had the ball, we were not cool enough”. Milner was already on the yellow, but referee Craig Pawson let play go on, and Divock Origi had a shot saved by Hugo Lloris on the counterattack.
Flanagan, who recently signed a one-year contract extension, that keeps him at Anfield until the end of this campaign will hope that he can impress new manager Jurgen Klopp, and displace Nathaniel Clyne, who is now the club’s first choice right-back before the end of the season.
The build up to the game carried an air of anticipation and excitement as fans and pundits alike were eager to see how Liverpool would perform under the recently installed German boss, but it proved anti-climatic as both sides failed to find any rhythm. “He went on loan to Lille, he’s a very good player, very young, a good technician, in this moment not full of experience in the game because he didn’t play so often but we will have fun with this player”.
“Tottenham is a good team so they came back in the match from about half an hour until half time”. It takes time implementing a system, and it might need a different set of players to make it happen.
“I have spoken to Daniel and told him exactly the same thing – that we are counting on him being fit, getting matches and getting a few goals hopefully and being with us in November”. Going up against the unsafe Tottenham Hotspur, do you think we’ll see a triumphant premiere for Klopp?
The bookmakers can hardly separate the two teams but Football-Talk can get new customers enhanced odds of 7/1 on a Tottenham win or 9/1 on a Liverpool win.

Klopp was also without captain Jordan Henderson, defender Joe Gomez and close-season signings Christian Benteke and Roberto Firmino due to injury.
