Klopp: Liverpool striker’s lack of ‘rhythm’ clear to see
Liverpool have no specific position they are looking to strengthen before the transfer window closes, according to Jurgen Klopp.

Jurgen Klopp has delivered his pre-match press conference ahead of the League Cup 2nd Round.
On paper at least, they aren’t a side that will be able to do to Liverpool what Burnley just did to Liverpool. I can’t believe how obsessed you all are with this. “We have 36 games left that is a big number”.
“At the moment, I’d say everyone who was available last week is available, plus one or two players if we need them”, Klopp continued.
“We are very professional, very clear and always working, but there is nothing more to say about this”.
“We know there is work to do, we are still in the market, want to keep improving but it will do the lads the world of good”.
The Wales global missed the first half of Burnley’s previous top-flight campaign with a knee injury which hampered his progress when he eventually came back but, after a confidence-boosting Euro 2016, the big frontman took Burnley’s first Premier League goal against Liverpool – and their first in the league in six matches – well.
“Possession doesn’t win you games”, he said. “Losing games are never off-days, but of course we have to take it”, he said. That’s not the plan.
“The first half was not for growing self-confidence and we lost timing and patience and it was not our best timing offensively”.
We spoke to Burton fan David Turner (@dturner1997) about his beloved Brewers, and got his thoughts on which Reds players he is wary of.
I would have to say Divock Origi is also a threat, due to the natural speed and goalscoring ability that he has shown in the past.
“They’re a good team who have had spectacular results – it’s a nice story”. Maybe not the best start, but spectacular results with the 4-3 against Norwich, unlucky. And their promotion from Blue Square’s Conference North to League Two nearly didn’t happen that season after league sponsor Blue Square made a show of paying out bets they would win promotion-in February while they were 19 points clear at the top of the table.
“Some progress at LFC, but they remind me of Newcastle 1995/96”.
“Possession has to lead to something and I don’t think they opened us up too many times”. I can change everything if I do.

I have Origi and Sturridge, but you only ask about one player. I can not bring them all in. “We have a few players with longer injuries, like Luke [Lucas Leiva]”. Danny is a wonderful player and a wonderful guy, but we can not change everything every two days.
