Klopp Makes 5 Changes: Predicted Liverpool XI To Face West Brom

Tony Pulis has described Jurgen Klopp as a “fantastic manager” ahead of Liverpool’s match against West Bromwich Albion at Anfield in the Premier League. Jonathon Flanagan, who has not played a senior game since May 2014, is close to returning, Jordan Henderson has suffered no reaction to his heel issue since resuming his campaign and Mamamdou Sakho is improving too.

But at 26, he should know the difference between normal pain and injury pain and clench his teeth and get himself going because his shelf life is fast slipping away. It is maybe with concentration or other things. “That’s the job. We’ll try to use everything we can use, but first of all I will have to see West Brom tomorrow morning and then I’ll know more about what we can use from tonight”. I don’t feel we have to look other people just because they cost £20m.

Klopp added: “We have four centre-backs when Mama [Sakho] is back – Kolo [Toure] is the fourth because of his age but now he’s always available”.

Steve Nicol said on the ESPN FC show on BT Sport/ESPN on Tuesday evening (December 8, 7pm broadcast time) that Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge is a much better striker than Everton youngster Romelu Lukaku. In January we have don’t know how many games we have, maybe every three days, so we have to be prepared.

“At this moment, we have no problems with quality”.

Liverpool are looking at options and if they are to do any business, it will be for Marko Grujic, the highly-regarded Serbia Under-21 global, who now plays for Red Star Belgrade; they do, however, face competition from Inter Milan for his signature.

Brazil legend Lucio believes that Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho has the potential to become the best footballer in the world at Liverpool. Although Liverpool held Smith’s registration after his contract expired last summer, Klopp said it was a bonus to him when he realised the Australian worldwide was still on the club’s books and he was eligible to rejoin the squad having signed a new deal.

“But that view has completely changed now and I think that is down to him and I think that is a huge achievement in itself”. “He can get better in everything but he’s a good boy and I like to work with him”.
