Klopp: No more unwanted players at Liverpool
Actually, I want to do it differently. If I spend money it is because I am trying to build a real team.

Klopp is quite clearly not from the school where a transfer “war chest” would burn a hole in his pocket, whether the owners have made one available to him or not, but the careful approach is hardly what fans expected this summer.
Liverpool legend John Barnes has backed Jurgen Klopp’s decision to send Mamadou Sakho home from the club’s pre-season tour of the United States for disciplinary reasons.
But Klopp has criticized the prospect of such an amount being paid for one player and says it is something he would never do.
“You can win championships, you can win titles”.
However, Klopp does point that not every side can go for the same player – if that were the case then a lot of teams were going to be disappointed, and from a transfer point of view different teams operate at different levels.
Klopp feels not only has he added further quality with goalkeepers Loris Karius and Alex Manninger, defenders Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan, midfielders Marko Grujic and Georginio Wijnaldum and forward Sadio Mane, but has also brought in the right characters.
“They only think United or City have taken this player and we have taken what’s-his-name, but for us it is about creating and building a team for next year”.
“If I had to guess I would say rather no, but I don’t know actually because it’s a long time until the 31st of August and I have no idea”, Klopp said in an exclusive interview with ESPN FC.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach arrived at Anfield in the early part of last season to replace Brendan Rodgers, and had to work with the squad that he inherited. “I am pretty sure I can not make all the ones everyone likes, but I have to be convinced about it”, he continued.
The German added that he believes there are now qualities in his squad which weren’t there previous year, and that he’s looking to bring that quality out in full over the coming season.

“At the end you are alone with the decision but it’s no problem to me”.
