Klopp revels in Liverpool’s Stamford Bridge success
“We started well this season but we have to be focused on everything, these are the games where we have to pay attention to all the details”.

Every Liverpool player should walk away from the team’s 2-1 victory at Stamford Bridge feeling satisfied, but none more than Dejan Lovren.
Klopp was dismissive when it was put to him that his players might struggle to sustain such a rhythm and said their dominance of possession in the first half had actually helped them save energy. Asked whether his team were title contenders, Klopp said: “Someone asked me that when we won 3-1 last season against Chelsea”.
Speaking after the game, Conte said: ‘I don’t know if they are still affected by last season but, I repeat, when you finish the season in 10th place, something odd is there.
“We knew it would be hard, they’re a good side with good players but we defended well and deserved the three points”. “Everything is good, we have 10 points that is fantastic”.
“We must feel the danger in every single moment of the game, if we want to win and think like a great team”.
On Friday he even achieved another milestone for a player: scoring his first league goal for the his team.
“We try to win as many games of football as possible that’s all”.
It made little difference as Liverpool’s prodigious work ethic, a staple of Klopp’s style, pressured Chelsea into submission and gave them a constant goal threat as well as a defensive shield.
“We conceded the goals in a odd way”. And the second Chelsea debut for expensive defender David Luiz finished like his first in 2011, a home loss to Liverpool.
“And they scored a goal but after the goal we managed it again”. We played a good second half.
Chelsea, sure to have been blasted at halftime by manager Antonio Conte, started the second spell better, with Nemanja Matic tiptoeing along the byline, and dinking the ball inside for a leaping Costa to volley in for his league-leading fifth goal in five games.
However, defeat for Chelsea leaves them in third place on 10 points, having played one extra game and Conte will be hoping Chelsea can prove they have moved on from last season’s failings. Last season was a bad season and I don’t want to repeat it. “The spirit is ideal so we just need to keep working”.
“I took a good touch out of my feet then just tried to bend it in the far corner and thankfully it went in”.

After Sturridge had thrashed a cross-shot across goal, Chelsea created their first real chance when Luiz s looping header from Willian s free-kick was fielded by Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet.
