Klopp satisfied but wants more at Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp declared himself highly satisfied with the display of his team after they racked up an emphatic 4-1 win at Manchester City on Saturday – but remained adamant Liverpool can perform even better.

Pellegrini accepts it is something of a risk to throw him in from the start as City host Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool – but insists his side need their talismanic forward.

“I hope that’s all, he will be very important for us, everybody can see he’s in really good shape in this moment”.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini says he has never seen his team play like the way they did against Liverpool.

“One of the most important things in important games is to have a cold mind, not a cold heart but a cold mind”.

“If we have a good idea, we try to bring it on the pitch, and that needs time”. At half-time I told the boys they were surprised to be winning 3-0, and we must do better in that situation.

The match between Manchester City and Liverpool will take place today, November 21, at 12:30 p.m. ET. City have relied on four or five players in the last few years, but they now have more players that are capable of stepping in when the key players are injured.

“Sergio is fit – he’s ready to come back”, Sky Sports quote Pellegrini as saying.

But while former City player James Milner may receive a warm welcome as he returns to the Etihad Stadium with Liverpool, Sterling can expect a different reaction from the visiting fans. I’ve been back training for the past couple of days and I was training when he first arrived.

“I don’t want to talk about one player”, he said.

Now in charge at Liverpool, Klopp unsuccessfully attempted to persuade Chelsea to part ways with De Bruyne as he viewed him as a natural replacement for Bayern Munich-bound Mario Gotze. “We know we are playing for very important points so any mistake could result in an unnecessary yellow card or an unnecessary card that could lead to a penalty”.
