He’ll have to get used to life without a winter break as he has enjoyed in Germany and Spain previously, and many other quirks to life in the so called “best league in the world”. “I would like to work with him over a longer period”, the Dutchman said.
Gundogan has also been linked with a move to Liverpool since the appointment of Jugen Klopp earlier this season.
Hunter also slammed Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward, who he says is one of the main reasons why the club has been suffering of late.
The former FC Barcelona boss revealed earlier this week that he wishes to coach in the English Premier League when he leaves Bayern amid speculation over interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City. The strongest links are with Manchester City who have already promised Pep a humungous amount of money as salary should he become their manager in the next season. “But he has won the title at Barcelona and Bayern Munich”, Seluk told The Mirror.
Eidur Gudjohnsen, who played under Guardiola for a year at Barcelona, is convinced the Catalan will deliver trophies at whichever club he ends up at, however.
“I have said that two years ago also so it’s not so unusual”, he said.
Seluk has been outspoken about Toure before, claiming during the summer that he was “90 per cent certain” to leave City before the start of the current season.
“I think Arsenal is a good fit for him, if I’m being honest”.
“Guardiola can say what he wants”, Matthaus told SportBild. “He took a team that was nowhere and made them champions”, Seluk concluded.
“Pep has worked in both, so I can imagine that after having worked in those two leagues, he would express a desire to go and work in the Premier League”. He has shown in his fast career that he’s capable to manage a team very well.
