MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – Cleveland Indians All-Star outfielder Michael Brantley was out of yesterday’s lineup and will likely miss multiple days while he deals with a sore left shoulder. He had a particularly rough outing Sunday, giving up seven runs in three innings, and now he’s been placed on the disabled list with a back injury. Sometimes outfield assists are a product of teams being willing to take every gamble against an outfielder, but in Rosario’s case, I would think teams will start to realize that even if he doesn’t have top-of-the-charts arm strength, his throws are incredibly accurate. May hasn’t started since July 1, when he yielded two runs (one earned) in 6 1/3 innings of a 2-1 loss in Cincinnati.
